Life Currently: February 2019

Anyone else glad January is finally over?
Did it not seem like we somehow fit an entire year into the span of one month?

Thankful that February is here and ready to kick off a new month! I'm joining in with Anne for another Currently edition; here's what's going on in my world lately...

{anticipating} It has been a whirlwind since we got back. Trying to open a business is NO JOKE! Any time I enter a restaurant now I just can't help but think, "how did you get open?!" Even if it's subpar I just think, "kudos to you! Your burger may be dry and the drinks not so pleasant, but you are open and you are making it happen!" We have hit quite a few road bumps, but are inching closer to getting Crimson House open and ready for business. I would welcome any prayers for smooth sailing ahead!

{making} Harry Potter wine glasses! We went to a wine glass painting night last week and it was so much fun. I of course went rogue and instead of using one of the given templates decided to make my own set of wine glasses. Anyone can have a pineapple; I wanted something that actually fit my wine-sipping soul!

Epcot International Festival of the Arts

{going} TO DISNEY!! I am beyond thankful that my sweet husband truly knows the way to my heart... straight down Main Street and through the castle (or should I say straight by the big white ball and into the World Showcase). We have gone to the parks three times since Christmas and two of them have been spent at Epcot. This is our first time getting to experience The Festival of the Arts and I am absolutely smitten! I love how interactive this event is; from being able to do a paint-by-numbers to all the fun photo spots and paintable food it is just so much fun!

{watching} The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel... y'all, if you haven't seen it stop what you are doing and watch it now! It's hysterical! All my book club gals were talking about it and I had been curious, but wasn't sure if it was something Babe would like and most of our tv watching is done together. If you aren't watching because you are worried your man may not be interested, think again... he loves it just as much as I do. I also had no idea it was produced by the same producer as Gilmore Girls, but as I was watching the first episode it all just seemed a little familiar and then sure enough Amy Sherman Palladino's name pops up on the screen and it all made sense. A little crude, a little bit wondrous, and a lot of sass... it's just the best!

Amazon Fashion Long Sleeve Top
{wearing} I was running low on long sleeved tees, so I snagged this cozy top from Amazon for just under $15. I actually unknowingly ended up with two- one in green (which I knew I purchased) and the other in red (which I didn't realize I had added). It ended up being a happy mistake, because when I put the red one on Babe asked me, "oh, did you get that for Gryffindor?" Well, sir, no I didn't, but I think I will keep it now, thanks! I also snagged a cute Hakuna Matata shirt that I plan to wear on our next Disney date. Amazon is really winning in the wardrobe department this month!

What does your life look like currently?

    1. I was super skeptical too! I have now ordered like 5 clothing items from Amazon and 4 out of 5 were great. The other was wearable, but a little itchy so I one wore it over something else.

    1. I would have loved to do that, but the poor painting gal would have had to sit there with me for another 2 hours after everyone else left lol... maybe I will try to make my own at home one day!
