Life Lately and SBR Nutrition Supplements

Happy HALLOWEEN!!
Wishing you all a day filled with frights and fun!!

What have you been loving about October? I may be a little early for 5 on Friday, but here are 5 things I am loving lately...

ONE
All the scary movies and spooky reads!! I may or may not have binge watched scary movies on Sunday and I am so stoked for all the spooky thrillers that will be on TV tonight. I am soaking up as much as I can, while we are still at my moms condo for the next few nights. We move back into the camper midNovember and will have to say goodbye to the endless number of channels at our fingertips. What is your favorite scary movie to watch during Halloween?

TWO
We got to spend the weekend with some of our favorites last weekend and it was exactly what we needed to reset after a crazy few weeks! The bro and sis-in-law came over to spend a few nights. We soaked up the sun, showed them around New Smyrna, and ate our weight in bread and seafood. Can we do it again tomorrow?

THREE
We have finally made a more permanent decision on where we are going to call home for the next little bit. We are still working on getting settled back in, after being on the road for 9 months, and have been going back and forth between my mom's condo (when she is gone) and the camper. We are so grateful to be able to be right on the beach and have access to her condo, but I think we are going to just claim the camper as home for the next few months until we figure out if we are definitely staying put in New Smyrna Beach. Constantly hauling our stuff back and forth has just been a little chaotic.

FOUR
I received the following liquid supplements from Brandbacker in exchange for my honest review. I had actually been trying to step up my vitamin and supplement game, so I was excited to give these a try.

SBR Nutrition Vitamins and Supplements

SBR Nutrition has a ton of great vitamins and supplements to choose from; I chose three that would be helpful in adding a boost to things I felt I was lacking in. I tried the Vitamin D3 + KW with MCT Oil, the Hydration supplement with added electrolytes, and Ashwagandha. The SBR Nutrition products are non-GMO and include no artificial preservatives. I have been using them daily for two weeks now and have really liked what I have seen in both my energy level and mood.

The Ashwaganda also has a pretty off-putting flavor; however, with all the benefits I knew I had to keep giving it a try. Ashwaganda is used to promote energy levels, endurance and cognitive memory. It is also said to help relieve stress. To cut back the taste I will fill my mouth with water first before I squirt half a dropper full, then swallow. I follow it with a water chaser and the taste is gone.

I chose the hydration oil because I have been horrible about drinking water. The hydration oil adds a boost to my drinking water and holds me accountable to making sure I keep water with me at all times. One of the reasons I stink at staying hydrated is that I don't love the taste of water and in all honestly the hydration oil itself does NOT taste good. Once added to water you can't taste it, but I love to step it up a bit by filling my Yeti with half coconut water and half regular water (I add 3 drops of hydration oil to my full-size Yeti tumbler).

The Vitamin D3 with K2 and MCT oil is known to help with natural energy levels, as well as with bone and joint support. My knees have been bothering me a lot lately, so I figured why not give it a try. One drop each day and, with a nice citrusy mint taste, its perfect to enjoy on its own.

FIVE
Things are moving forward with Crimson House! We still have a little ways to go, but we are starting to see things take shape and hope to have the wine bar open by the end of the year. We are so excited to open the doors and invite in all the wine lovers!!

That's it around here this Halloween!
We are laying low and watching movies!
What did you do for Halloween this year?

  5. First off, pineapple pool floats for the win! And those supplements look amazing, I feel like the liquid, you would get the benefits so much more quickly with less waste.

    1. Yes, it's super quick and once I add it to a quick sip of water the taste is gone.

  8. I love Halloween, but I will always hate the scary movie aspect of it! I can't even watch the movies, I just hide under my blanket and plug my ears the whole time! LOL!
